Interested in the Potomac Patriots?

The Potomac Patriots Junior hockey teams skate under the corporate banner of the Virginia Express Hockey Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing the highest level of hockey skills among Junior-aged players.  The Club offers talented hockey players a challenging and competitive program in an environment that emphasizes team play, academic excellence, and personal development.

One of our key goals is to provide our players with an opportunity to advance through the Junior hockey ranks and into play at the college level.  We offer a program focused on that goal, but one that also encourages academic excellence.  First and foremost, our student-athletes are students, and they must place a priority on academic excellence.

Another key goal is personal development.  One way in which we support the personal development of our players is by placing an emphasis on responsible citizenship through a range of community service activities.  Our players collect food for less fortunate families, donate clothing and toys to needy children, and support our wounded troops with donations of much needed supplies while they are recovering in area military hospitals.  Giving back to our community is an important way in which our players develop excellent core values and serve as role models.

The Patriots  field Tier 3 Junior B teams in the Empire Junior Hockey League (EmJHL) and the Continental Hockey Association (CHA) Junior Hockey League.   The home rink for the Potomac Patriots Junior hockey teams is Prince William Ice Center located at 5180 Dale Blvd., in Woodbridge, Virginia.
